Smart China Expo 2020 invites IT companies and institutions to participate in the online edition at no cost

The Chongqing International Cooperation Department, represented by Ms. Zhang Qin, invited Brazilian companies and institutions to participate in the "Smart China Expo 2020 "(SCE), to be carried out in an online version in the second half of September, over two days (the dates are yet to be defined). The Expo has the support of private companies and research institutions, among other organizations, which can be consulted in this document. The objective is to facilitate the dissemination of the commercial use of innovations and new information technologies (IT), with a view to promoting contacts, partnerships and facilitating business, both in the Chinese market and in other countries participating in the exhibition. 

SCE is a traditional event in the area of technology and innovation and, in its previous editions, had a significant presence of startups, companies, universities and institutions in the innovation ecosystem of more than 30 countries, according to the organizers. THE  2019 SCE, counted on representatives of the technological environment from the United Kingdom, Italy and Singapore, in addition to the Australian promotion agency Austrade, among others.

Generally speaking, the "online" SCE will consist of demonstrating products, services and / or their underlying technological platforms with intensive data processing and use ("big data", artificial intelligence, "blockchain", high-speed networks, etc.) exhibition will be divided according to the following thematic sections:  

• smart products;
• smart manufacturing;
• smart applications;
• smart technologies;
• regional cooperation.

Below is a summary of the conditions for participation of any Brazilian entities, provided by Mrs. Zhang:  

– cost: there is no cost for the participation of Brazilian entities;
– deadline for registration: until the next 23rd of August;
– material to be displayed: videos, images, texts and audios produced by the participating entities (in English, without prejudice to other additional languages), according to the technical specifications of the organizers (see annex to the file);
– selection: applications for registration, together with the material to be displayed, must be forwarded to the Chongqing International Cooperation Department, in the care of Ms. Zhang Qin, by email qzhang74@hotmail.com
