It is focused on the development and qualification of talents, which is why it has partnerships with educational institutions that certify its employees, applies the "Y Career" concept in its management, offers internal leadership programs, in addition to promoting a relaxed and dynamic work environment , with flexible hours and a weekly home office system.

Digital contracting and integration

At this time of Covid-19 propagation, in which confinement is recommended by world health organizations, the company found, through technology, ways to ensure a safe hiring of employees. The entire hiring and integration process, carried out in normal situations (in person), was adapted to the digital environment and has been carried out remotely.

Through videoconferencing platforms, people in the People area provide information that ranges from topics that permeate the challenges of opportunities, contractual issues, such as working hours and benefits, to strategic topics, such as the company's values and culture, information security and compliance, in addition to the presentation of managers and team members that these new employees will be part of. A few days before the start of work, new employees receive information pills about Sinqia's history and culture, so that they can become familiar with the company's operations.

When it comes to documentation, the filling in of registration data is done virtually and the documents required for contracting are sent digitally (scanner or photos) by both parties. The signing of the contract is also virtual – the new employee formalizes that he accepts to work at the company through e-mails. In addition, to maintain the safety and health of new employees, the admission medical exams were postponed and should be carried out after the end of the period of social isolation.

"To ensure that the model of hiring and starting new employees digitally and remotely is successful, managers are advised to hold at least one team meeting per week, via digital platforms, in order to ensure good integration, monitor and provide support in case of possible doubts. This way it is possible to maintain proximity and certify that they are safe and happy with the scope of work and their teams", comments Fernanda Mello, Coordinator of the People area at Sinqia.

Project management tools, used to maintain assertive communication between teams, also help the new employee to easily visualize ongoing activities. In addition, managers assign a 'Buddy' (work partner) to each new member who joins the team, so that this person has a close contact who will pass on day-to-day guidelines.

All the measures mentioned are carried out by Sinqia in normal hiring situations, but in person. Adaptations of procedures operate within the regulatory laws of formal contracting.

At the moment, the company's headquarters and its branches are closed and in the process of cleaning up the entire environment. The entire staff has been working in an integral home office scheme since the beginning of the quarantine, as a way to prevent the advancement of COVID-19. Wages and working hours were not reduced.
