Daniel Scuzzarelo

Siemens PLM, a provider of product lifecycle management services and manufacturing operations management software, announces the appointment of Daniel Scuzzarello as new Portfolio Director for South America. The executive will be responsible for leading the entire portfolio of Siemens solutions in the region and its main challenges will be to develop the South American market and enhance the presence of Siemens CAD, CAE and CAM solutions, which support the entire product lifecycle management (PLM), where there are still plenty of room for market expansion.

Graduated in Computer Science and with a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Lund University, Sweden, Scuzzarello moved to Brazil about seven years ago. "Working at Siemens allows us to help customers and companies realize their dreams, develop and stimulate progress so that they can be more successful in an increasingly competitive scenario full of challenges", he emphasizes.

 Veritas Technologies today announced that Michael Cremen is joining the company as Senior Vice President of Sales, Americas. Cremen will lead a team of technical, sales and service professionals committed to helping customers unlock the potential of their data, increasing market share across the Americas region, the company's largest geographic market.
 
Cremen is a successful business executive with a strong background in information management, data analytics and cloud-based solutions. His experience spans the various strategic initiatives currently in place in organizations, including digital transformation, regulatory compliance and customer experience. Previously, Cremen managed an extensive portfolio of businesses for IBM Global Technology Services, focused on selling, delivering and managing large-scale transformational solutions for financial services clients in North America.
 
Prior to IBM, Cremen served as Executive Vice President of Global Sales for a Hitachi subsidiary, leading a multibillion-dollar sales and service organization comprising 4,500 people in 130 countries.

"Michael's experience building high-performing teams and driving profitable growth for leading companies in the technology industry makes him a valuable addition to Veritas' senior leadership team," said Scott Genereux, Executive Vice President, Veritas Worldwide Field Operations.
 
Cremen holds a BA in finance from The College of New Jersey, an MBA in marketing from Monmouth University and a graduate degree from the Tuck School of Business in the Dartmouth Executive Development Program.
