Siemens inaugurated, at its headquarters in São Paulo, the first Digital Experience Center in Latin America. The DEX (Digital Experience Center) is an interactive space designed to show how the manufacturing and process industries can accelerate their transformation to digitization. With a contribution of R$ 1 million, it will be Siemens' first Digital Experience Center in Latin America. Other centers already exist in North America, Asia and Europe.

At DEX, companies of all sizes will be able to see up close solutions to increase productivity, optimize performance and even explore other lines of business. In addition to partner companies and customers, the Digital Experience Center will be open to schools and professional preparation entities.

“DEX will help each client bring their productivity challenge, whether micro or macro, and here we will investigate to the root to solve it. Digitization is a process that will be increasingly common from now on”, comments José Moreira, Head of Digital Enterprise at Siemens in Brazil.

Among the demonstrations, visitors will be able to follow simulations made through Digital Twins, which designs a production line virtually for companies to plan the operation of their factories and analyze bottlenecks and possible solutions. There will also be demonstration of other technologies, such as 3D modeling, augmented reality and integration with industrial applications through the MindSphere platform, Siemens' open cloud operating system.
