Siemens and SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) announced a new partnership based on their industry experience that will bring together their complementary software solutions for the product lifecycle, supply chain and asset management, so that their customers can provide collaborative business models and innovations that will accelerate industry transformation globally.

Through this agreement, SAP and Siemens will be able to complement and integrate their respective solutions to offer customers the first truly integrated and enhanced solutions for product lifecycle management (PLM), supply chain, asset and service management. With this, customers will be able to form a truly digital thread, which will integrate all virtual models and simulations of a product or asset with real-time business information, feedback and performance data throughout the life cycle.
