Applications for the startup acceleration program are now open early stage from SEVNA Seed. The accelerator is maintained by Instituto SEVNA, a non-profit institution founded in 2011 by 10 entrepreneurs in the technology sector and which is hosted at SUPERA – Parque de Inovação e Tecnologia de Ribeirão Preto. Applications must be submitted by November 30, 2015.
The program aims to accelerate nine technology-based startups with high growth potential for twenty months. The chosen projects will receive up to R$ 500 thousand in investments, including financial support, physical resources, technological tools, specialized advice and mentoring.
Acceleration will be carried out with a focus on project qualification, mainly through mentoring and market access, in addition to the availability of various resources through partnerships between SEVNA Seed and other organizations such as Amazon, Sympla, SurveyMonkey, Fundacity, Conta Azul, Ambiente CoNéctar , Supera Parque, PISO – Industrial Pole of Software in Ribeirão Preto and MOVER – Movimento Empreende Ribeirão.
“In addition to financial and indirect resources, the main differential of SEVNA is to add the know-how of the founders and more than 40 mentors from our team”, says the accelerator's CEO, Ricardo Agostinho.
Over each six-month acceleration cycle, more than 20 specialized workshops are planned, including content such as Business Model Canvas, Blue Ocean Strategy & Value Proposition, Revenue Models, Design Thinking, Customer Development, MVP, Information Architecture and Wireframming , Pitching, Optimization, Analytics, A/B Testing, Adwords, Growth Hacking and Valuation.
