ACATE Business Lunch in 1O December will deal with income tax on capital gains, suspension of incentives in the Lei do Bem and important bills for the sector
The last 2015 edition of VerticAlmoço, an initiative of the Business Verticals of the Santa Catarina Association of Technology Companies (ACATE) will project tax trends for 2016. The meeting will be held on the 1stO December, starting at 12:00, at the ACATE Innovation Center – CIA ACATE Primavera, and there will be a lecture conducted by the lawyer Ricardo Hiroshi Akamine, partner of Pinhão e Koiffman Advogados, which will address key issues for updating companies. The December edition of the event is promoted by Vertical Games.
Among the main points presented will be changes in the rate of Income Tax on Capital Gains, changes in the rates and limits of Interest on Equity and Change in the treatment of ICMS on software in the State of São Paulo and its consequences in relation to suppliers or customers from other states. Participants will also receive information about the suspension of some incentives contained in the Lei do Bem and important bills for companies or entrepreneurs in the IT sector.
Speaker Ricardo Hiroshi Akamine is a lawyer graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC/SP), post-graduated in Strategic Management in Taxes and professor at LLM Tax Law at Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa IPESP. He is the partner responsible for the Tax Consulting and Litigation areas at Pinhão e Koiffman Advogados.
