During the launch of the Brasil de Todas as Telas – Year 2 Program, with the investment lines of the Audiovisual Sectorial Fund (FSA), on October 1, the Minister of Culture, Juca Ferreira, and the CEO of Ancine, Manoel Rangel, announced that there will be a line of funding for the development of electronic games.

According to Rangel, it is an action that is under construction and considers that there is an important gaming market in Brazil. “The country is a big user and consumer, but we have few Brazilian games developed here”.

The public notice will contemplate only Brazilian companies. “The idea is to invest in the development of electronic games that work the Brazilian culture within them. Brazil has a great capacity to develop the visualization industry that responds to animation, games and important research programs”, said Rangel.
