Sesi-SP conquista dois prêmios em torneio de robótica na Alemanha

The school team Sesi de Itapetininga won two awards at the First Lego League (FLL) Open European Championship, in Paderborn, Germany. In all, 53 teams from 32 countries participated in the competition. The team brought the award for Best Coach (Aldo de Lima Ricardo) and Mentor (Camila Aparecida Almeida Pires Mastromaouro dos Santos). 

 
The team also took second place in the Research Presentation category, with the project developed by the eight students during the Senior Solutions season (solutions for the elderly). They developed a system with a barcode reader and tablet that, coupled to the supermarket cart, bring food tips according to the health condition of the elderly person, informed at the beginning of the purchase. 
 
Another SESI-SP team will also represent Brazil in a First Lego League tournament this year. Students from the Sesi de Valinhos school, third placed in the National Stage of the FLL Tournament, will participate in the FLL Asian-Pacific Open Championship. The event takes place from July 4th to 6th at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
