Brazil Movement, Digital Country
Launched in 2016, the Brazil, Digital Country it is a non-profit, multisectoral and non-partisan movement, led by ABES, which works for an agenda of digital and intelligent transformation for the country.
O #Digitals it is formed by people and organizations passionate about technology, innovation and, mainly, for its democratizing and inclusive power. Currently, there are already 12 participating entities and several volunteer employees engaged in the campaign. In December 2017, the Movement started to recognize professionals, researchers and authorities that stand out for their history of supporting the information technology sector and for the digital transformation of Brazilian society, giving them a commemorative plaque and appointing them honorary ambassadors of the movement.
In addition to ABES, partners in the initiative are: ABIIS (Brazilian Alliance of the Innovative Industry in Health); ABRADISTI (Brazilian Association for the Distribution of Information Technology); ABRANET (Brazilian Internet Association); Assespro (Association of Information Technology Companies); Brasscom (Brazilian Association of Information and Communication Technology Companies), BSA - The Software Aliance; CNI - National Council of Industry; FENAINFO (National Federation of Computer Companies), Brazilian Institute of Digital Law; ITI Decodes (Information Technology Industry Council); IAB Brasil (Interactive Advertising Bureau) and MBC (Competitive Brazil Movement).
