Method to develop products or solve challenges in a maximum of five days started the company's first solution with Blockchain technology

Since the beginning of this year, Serasa Experian has implemented a new business model based on a guided design thinking session. Named “Inception”, the method consists of creating a new product or finding solutions to customer challenges within 5 days. For this, multidisciplinary teams are formed, with direct customer involvement, which are immersed to identify the problem, raise hypotheses, create a prototype and make the final delivery on time.

“This new method guarantees more agility and innovation, allowing, for example, to quickly identify customer satisfaction before investing time and money in creating a product that, in the traditional model, can take about a month for a similar result”, says the director of Information Technology at Serasa Experian, Fábio Felizatti.

The first Serasa Experian product with Blockchain technology was born from an Inception. The solution, which is in the pilot phase with three large companies in the healthcare sector, is a pioneer in the recording of electronic patient records on blockchain and guarantees security and transparency for all involved.

“The methodology adopted by the technology team was essential for us to gain speed in the conception and marketing of this product that uses a distributed network to register and validate the operations in each phase of the process, in addition to securely identifying those involved. Our objective is to reduce the risks and costs of the operation in a partnership that worked very well between our customers, the technical and business areas”, says the senior manager of Digital Identity at Serasa Experian, Murilo Couto.
