Serasa Experian, a leader in Latin America in information services to support companies' decision-making, announced a new installation and expansion of the operation in the city of São Carlos, in the interior of São Paulo, as of March 2016.

With an investment of R$ 30 million, the new center of excellence should encompass the areas of IT, Data Capture and Finance and will meet all the demands of the national territory. Serasa Experian will maintain the activities of its headquarters, in Planalto Paulista, and in Cerqueira César, both addresses located in the south of São Paulo. 

“Serasa Experian São Carlos, in addition to generating new jobs and boosting the economy, will be the heart of the company, with excellence in the development of innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology. Today, São Carlos is a privileged city, recognized throughout Brazil as a technological hub”, says José Luiz Rossi, president of Serasa Experian.

Technology and more efficiency

The new facility will have modern architecture, infrastructure and state-of-the-art technology, which will allow integration and collaboration between employees. In this first phase, around 500 employees will be allocated in two offices temporarily located in the city center. The expectation is that, with the growth of operations, the new center will have capacity for 1500 employees.

Also according to the executive, in times of crisis, it is important to have alternatives to take the country out of immobility. The creation of Serasa Experian São Carlos is part of a continuous process so that the operating model is as efficient as possible and allows for more flexibility and speed in decision-making and, consequently, greater agility and efficiency in customer service. “By aggregating data with more efficiency and agility, we will allow our clients' transactions to be even more agile and simple from a procedural point of view, promoting business growth in difficult times”, says Rossi.

In addition, greater synergy between the Data and IT teams in the same space, in a more collaborative environment that will facilitate communication and integration and allow the company to continue to innovate more and more. “Data and IT are at the heart of what we do and are key elements in delivering our solutions,” says Rossi. Serasa Experian São Carlos will also be a reference in the inclusion of workers with disabilities, not only meeting the quota, but helping other companies in the region to become inclusive.
