Serasa Experian is opening new registrations for its social inclusion program through professional education, Transforme-se. The project reaches its sixth edition, having accumulated more than 2,100 people from seven states already trained by the ESG initiative of the largest datatech in the country, in an investment that exceeds R$13 million since 2021.
510 free scholarships will be offered in technology – website and application programming (Java front end programming), for young people living in low-income communities in Brasília, Recife and São Paulo (East Zone), aged between 18 and 29, who have completed or are currently attending high school. Applications must be made at the link: https://www.serasaexperian.com.br/transforme-se/
Datatech offers a complete package of benefits so that approved young people can study and change their lives. Basic materials such as backpacks, notebooks, t-shirts, social assistance, support for transportation to schools and food if necessary are included.
The classes will be offered at Senac units in the cities mentioned. In total, there will be 6 months of classes, with 260 hours of training divided between basic computer science, logic, and front-end programming – Java. In addition, Serasa Experian includes 20 hours of Personal Finance in the educational journey, with the aim of supporting the financial health of young people, as well as a career mentoring process formatted in four meetings with professionals from the company. Social monitoring is provided by NGOs from the Gerando Falcões network.
“Transforme-se is the result of the desire to transform lives through a career in technology. With the program, we connect our data and technology DNA with the purpose of creating a better tomorrow through financial health,” says Paulo Gustavo Gomes, head of sustainability at Serasa Experian.
More than a program, an end-to-end ecosystem to support everything from training to employment, with a focus on social transformation
Paulo Gustavo Gomes adds that, “our goal is not to distribute scholarships, we are pursuing the social transformation of each young person who goes through the program. Every year we invest in and test new tools to help young people find a job that guarantees a better and more promising future for them and their families.”
In 2024 Serasa Experian launched the alumni community of the program, which offers complementary content from the world of technology and soft skills created with the expertise of the company's volunteer employees. In total, more than 70 video classes are available, with 1,400 hours of content consumed by young people in 1 year. The space is also an opportunity for exchange among young people, a communication channel and a way to publicize open positions in the company.
Now, this year, datatech has just launched the talent bank, with the aim of scaling up entry into the job market. 99jobs was chosen to host and make available to the market the talents of early career from the program.
“Today, 80% of our former students are employed, have had an increase in income or have moved to a position in technology after 1 year of completing the course. We want more companies to find these talents, giving them competitiveness with respect to their social profile, which will certainly contribute to more diversity, inclusion and pride in belonging to these companies”, explains the head of sustainability at Serasa Experian.
Interested companies will be able to access this specific webpage (https://transforme-se.99jobs.com/ ) and search for qualified talent through the various filters available. In addition, the selection process on the 99jobs platform will be completely free for employers and young people, since Serasa Experian is also responsible for the operational costs of this stage.
