Initiative supports small businesses seeking guidance and financial relief amidst social isolation

Aware of this responsibility, Serasa Experian has joined 'Stimulus 2020', a national and non-profit movement that brings together companies from different sectors to offer financial education and affordable online credit in an uncomplicated way to small businesses that are suffering the economic impacts of isolation. The initiative offers working capital equivalent to up to one month of companies' billing, with interest of 0.33% per month and payment term of up to 18 months. Companies that intend to apply for financial assistance must have at least three years of operation and annual sales between R$ 360 thousand and R$ 2 million. To apply for credit, the entrepreneur must register on the platform. The procedure to take advantage of these benefits is free and simple, just fill in your CNPJ, corporate name, full name and inform your monthly billing before this crisis. The concession criteria will consider operational indicators and the history of the applicant companies.

The 'Estímulo 2020' platform also offers other services and information to help small business owners, such as free courses and training. Enrollment is open to all small business owners, whether they have signed up for financial aid or not. The content includes lectures on management, financial education, entrepreneurship and mentoring activities.

MEIs represent the majority of new companies

Most of the companies opened in February 2020 are represented by Individual Microentrepreneurs, which are 78.6%, a total of 212,292 ventures.
