Colombia is the company's first expansion frontier to grow revenue and position itself as yet another multinational Brazilian
Senior Sistemas, one of the largest Brazilian management technology companies, begins 2021 with the acquisition of Novasoft, a major player in the technology market in Colombia, with a strong presence in ERP and People Management solutions. As a result of this movement, Senior Sistemas - which today has more than 12 thousand customers and revenues that should exceed R$ 500 million in 2021 - starts its operations in the international market with the strategy of diversifying revenue and expanding the market in a country that has the third largest economy in Latin America. The company is also attentive to the territorial benefit, since the brand's presence in Colombia enables new business opportunities in the Andean region.

Carlênio Castelo Branco, CEO of Senior Sistemas
“Novasoft brings expertise in the Colombian market that coincides with our business interests, especially due to the performance with management systems within the local laws, which enables us to bring other complementary solutions for the management of these companies. In addition, the good reputation in the market, the solid client portfolio and the similar culture with Senior, were also different during the negotiation”, highlights the CEO of Senior Sistemas, Carlênio Castelo Branco.
Novasoft has been in the market for 30 years, with nearly 2000 customers - including several multinationals and companies from other countries - 20 distribution channels in Colombia, headquartered in Bogotá and more than 150 employees.
With the acquisition, Novasoft becomes an International unit of the Senior Business Directorate of Senior Sistemas, led by Alencar Berwanger. Novasoft's operating partners remain as company executives and will have a shareholding in the operation.

Wilson Armando Mendieta, CEO of Novasoft
“Senior's portfolio and expertise complement Novasoft's solutions in the Colombian market, something that helps us to add more value to our current customers, also paving the way for business growth in Latin America”, speaks Wilson Armando Mendieta, CEO of Novasoft.
In recent years, Senior Sistemas has been working on planning its first steps abroad, a goal that is in line with the company's expansion plan. The Brazilian company has been growing year by year, a result that is due to the sum of the organic performance to the various investments and acquisitions. Altogether there have been 21 acquisitions and investments in companies.
Strategy
Senior begins its work in Colombia adding to Novasoft's portfolio all its complementary HR, Logistics, Construction, Access and Security, CRM, BPM solutions, etc.
In addition, from this first step on the international market, the Brazilian company also believes that it can serve even more fully some of its current customers, since many of these companies also have or project new businesses outside of Brazil.
“We participate in the management of large companies in the domestic market that also operate abroad. That is why taking our solutions to the international level makes it possible for us to offer an even more complete experience for our customers, with the same security and confidence of the partnership we maintain in Brazil ”.
Senior adds that the company's planning for 2021 promises new business movements, news that should boost the company's results inside and outside Brazil.
