One of the main developers in the country specialized in technology for management, Senior announced the launch of a virtual assistant integrated into its CRM (relationship management system) solution. Called Sara (Senior Automated and Responsive Agent), Senior's virtual assistant is accessed by mobile devices and interacts with the user through voice recognition and speech-to-text transformation.
 
With this launch, Senior becomes the first Brazilian company to offer a virtual assistant based on a cognitive computing platform in systems for business management. Among the benefits, the solution increases the productivity of professionals and faster and more efficient access to information for decision making.
 
“With our solution, professionals in the field no longer have to wait to arrive at the company to enter information about a meeting or a customer in the CRM. Just call Sara, through her smartphone, and, using voice commands, enter the data. The virtual assistant recognizes what the user is saying and, in real time, transforms the voice data into text, updating the information in the system”, says Jean Vieira, Senior Development Director. “In a scenario that increasingly demands mobility, productivity and agility, Sara arrives to facilitate management and improve the routine of users of the solution”, adds the executive.
 
Currently, more than 100 clients are already testing Senior's CRM system with Sara, who can interact with users as if she were a human being, in order to optimize processes related to the management system. The virtual assistant allows, for example, to check the schedule of visits and opportunities with expected closing, add comments and information in a simple way, through voice. In addition, the system has the ability, from the behavior of users, to learn and adapt to them, just like the human brain.
 
According to a Bank Of America Merrill Lynch survey, the market for virtual assistants or chatbots such as Sara, from Senior, should move US$ 153 billion by 2020. Last year, Sara already responded to information about employee vacations, within the company's HR solution and also approved pending issues in the ERP. Also last year, Senior launched Picking by Voice Mobile – an application with voice command integrated to its WMS (warehouse management) installed on mobile devices that provides gains of up to 25% in the productivity of picking goods, as reduces errors and streamlines processes – and many customers are already waiting to deploy the solution. By the end of the first half of this year, 99% of Senior's ERP and HR solutions will have bots integrated into their various functionalities.
