Senior announced the acquisition of SOFtran, a company recognized as one of the best solutions for cargo transportation, logistics and fleet owners. The purchase is part of Senior's strategic plan for growth through acquisitions and completes the company's logistics portfolio.

In the market for 21 years, and with approximately 70 employees, SOFftran is located in Joinville/SC, serves the entire Brazilian territory and manages more than 18 thousand online users every day. The acquired company should close the year 2015 with revenues of R$ 6 million and, according to the executive, the strength and capillarity of Senior, with more than 100 distribution channels throughout the national territory, should make the SOFtran solutions gain reach and contribute to the competitiveness of Brazilian companies.
The company serves the fractional cargo, e-commerce, retail, chemical, bulk, dry cargo, and milk run sectors. “In this way, we started to offer even stronger cost reduction solutions, without compromising compliance processes. “In fact, this is a point taken very seriously by both companies. All concerns with legal requirements can be safely delegated to the systems, already configured with the most current Government guidelines”, complements Senior Marketing and Product Director, Alencar Berwanger.
