Bearing in mind the mandatory declaration of the recipient of electronic invoices, provided for in legislation that comes into force in the second half of 2013, Senior has already started to make available an ERP solution adapted to the new Brazilian reality in the national market. The aim is to facilitate the daily lives of customers, who can now carry out the process automatically, quickly and safely.

The Recipient Manifestation is a set of events that allows the recipient of the electronic invoice (NF-e) to confirm their commercial participation in the operation. With this, the company will have full control over the documents, in addition to being able to identify the misuse of its data in illegal operations.

The new obligation aims to combat tax evasion and unfair competition, as it allows the Tax Authorities to obtain information that the goods were actually received by the consumer. The document allows the company to express its opinion on an NF-e received in four events: Issuance Awareness, Operation Confirmation, Operation Unperformed Registration and Operation Unacknowledgement.

Fernando da Silva, product manager at Senior, explains that, with the new obligation, it will be possible to find out which invoices use suitable state registrations to cover up fraudulent operations, obtain the XML of the NF-e that have not been transmitted by the issuer , in addition to guaranteeing legal certainty and avoiding problems with the Tax Authorities, as a confirmed note cannot be canceled by the issuer.

According to the executive, in addition to facilitating adherence, the process benefits the recipient of the goods. “The sooner companies prepare for the Recipient Manifestation, the more advantages they will obtain, as it will be possible to follow up on all invoices issued in the name of your company, without being caught by surprise. With the early release of the system, they will also have more time to adjust their operations to the new requirement”, adds the executive.
