Institution units already use more than 600 software licenses

Dassault Systèmes, a 3D design software company, 3D Digital Mock Up and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), announces that SENAI is already training teachers and students to use more than 600 licenses for its Solidworks solution. The initiative benefits more than 2,000 students and teachers from all over Brazil from the courses on Industrial Automation, Electronics, Electromechanics, Electrotechnics, Automotive Maintenance, Mechanics and Mechatronics. With Dassault Systèmes technology, SENAI teaches how to develop, visualize and test projects on the computer screen before they are even produced.

“Dassault Systèmes has had cooperation projects with SENAI in all regions of Brazil for over ten years to support the transformation of education in the country and the development of students. In this way, we can collaborate with the preparation of qualified professionals for the Brazilian labor market ”, says Mário Belesi, Director of Dassault Systèmes de Soluções Solidworks para Latin America.

In addition to receiving licenses, teachers and students at SENAI units have access to lectures on the Solidworks software and learning how to develop products and projects on the computer screen. Incorporated into Dassault Systèmes' 3DExperience platform, Solidworks helps professionals design, validate, collaborate, create and manage their product development processes using integrated applications. The program features great power, high performance and capabilities geared towards paperless manufacturing through the Model Based Definition and printed circuit board (PCB) design.
