Initiative reduces healthcare spending by up to 40%

Corporate healthcare spend represents approximately 10.4% of payroll, according to data from human resources consultancy Mercer Marsh. Caixa de Assistência das Empresas de Software e Serviços do Brasil (CAESBRA) and A2G Corretora de Seguros, encouraged by the Brazilian Association of Software Companies (ABES), made the Bradesco Health Insurance possible, for the benefit of software companies in reducing healthcare management costs. With this benefit, ABES members can save up to 40% in healthcare costs, services and national coverage. Savings are provided by the fixed value of each life. That is, regardless of age, the price of the plan is the same for all policyholders. “This is a great opportunity for ABES member companies, which cannot afford the high health costs”, reveals Carlos Sacco, director of Relationship and Services at the association.

Since 2013, this Program has been generating savings for associates, and now, in 2019, new plans have been launched. Currently, more than 100 companies participate in this policy, guaranteeing Health Insurance for partners, directors, employees and their dependents.

Member companies may contract Bradesco Health Insurance through A2G Corretora de Seguros, via a CAESBRA policy, which signed a contract with the insurance company. According to Sacco, any associated company can consult the brokerage and assess adherence to the benefit. Initially, four different types of plans were negotiated in 2013 and, currently, this number has grown: there are seven types of plans, all with national coverage.

“The objective of the initiative is to offer our associates a benefit that adds value to the company's business and generates a reduction in administrative costs”, highlights Sacco.
