Initiative reduces healthcare spending by up to 40%

Corporate healthcare spending accounts for approximately 10.4% of payroll, according to data from human resources consultancy Mercer Marsh. The Assistance Fund for Software Companies and Complementary Services in Brazil (CAESBRA), encouraged by the Brazilian Association of Software Companies (ABES), made Bradesco Health Insurance possible, for the benefit of software companies in reducing health management costs.

With this benefit, ABES members can save up to 40% on costs with medical assistance, services and national coverage. Savings are provided by the fixed value of each life. That is, regardless of age, the price of the plan is the same for all insured persons. “This is a great opportunity for micro and small businessmen who cannot afford high healthcare costs or who have a small staff”, reveals Carlos Sacco, marketing director at ABES.

With two months in effect, more than a dozen member companies, representing more than 800 lives, including partners, directors, employees and their dependents, have already adhered to the plan.

Associated companies may contract Bradesco Health Insurance, via the Caixa de Assistência policy that signed a contract with the insurance company. According to Sacco, any associated company can join the benefit, as long as they do not have current Bradesco Health Insurance . In total, four types of plans were negotiated, all with national coverage.

“The objective of the initiative is to offer our associates one more benefit that adds value to the company's business and generates a reduction in administrative costs”, highlights Sacco.
