Registration for the 6th edition of MPE Brasil – Competitiveness Award for Micro and Small Companies is open until July 31st. Registration is free and can be done online (www.premiompe.sebrae.com.br) or at Sebrae-SP service points spread throughout the state. Companies with total gross revenue of up to R$ 3.6 million/year can participate.
Eight categories will be awarded: industry, commerce, agribusiness, tourism services, IT services, health services, education services and other services, in addition to highlights in social responsibility and innovation
The award recognizes good management practices by micro and small companies and is an opportunity to boost business, increasing competitiveness and encouraging the search for improvement in products and services. In addition to the chance to compete for the title of best MPE of the year in their segment, participating companies receive a free diagnosis on the situation of business management.
“It's an opportunity for entrepreneurs to check-up their companies, assess their strengths and draw up a plan to improve their performance”, says Bruno Caetano, superintendent director of Sebrae-SP.
The awards for the São Paulo stage take place on November 20 in São Paulo, when the companies in the state competing for the national stage in Brasília, scheduled for March 2014, are announced.
The MPE Brasil award is promoted by Sebrae in partnership with Movimento Brasil Competitivo (MBC), Gerdau and the National Quality Foundation (FNQ).
