The event is open for registration until 10/31 and offers a free opportunity to expand knowledge in analytics
SAS, a leader in analytics and AI, announces the first edition of “SAS Academic Week 2023”, a free online event, which focuses on deepening the knowledge of professors, students, deans, coordinators, researchers and independent students about SAS technologies in academic and commercial areas. The lectures, which will be given by experts and teachers, will take place from the 6th to the 10th of November, and the program can be accessed via link.
With the growing demand for professionals related to the area of data analysis, the event provides the chance for students and members of the academic community to learn more about the application of cloud software and based on SAS artificial intelligence (AI) to solve complex problems, both in research and in companies. Speakers include André Novo, Country Manager at SAS Brasil, Deborah Vasconcellos, Manager of the Global Academic Program at SAS and professionals from different areas of the company.
“The idea for the event emerged as a way to offer the academic community a broad view of SAS, from different perspectives, such as the industries in which we operate, the job market, the use of SAS solutions in companies and universities, among others”, he states Deborah Vasconcellos. “Investment in teaching and learning analytics has been one of SAS’ priorities, and, through this event, we seek to add even more knowledge to our audience.”
The executive also highlights that “SAS Academic Week 2023” is a great opportunity for participants to expand their networking with the community, enhancing the future projects of those who wish to pursue a career in data analysis, regardless of the segment of activity.
Spaces are limited per lecture, and registration is open until 10/31. Interested parties must apply via link.
