SAS introduced the free SAS Analytics U software, an initiative that includes no-cost tool offerings for universities, enabling students and faculty to access and deploy SAS software more easily and quickly.
SAS Analytics U is now available to universities in Brazil and around the world, and is offered to students and professors from different courses, who want to deepen their knowledge in data analysis and statistics. The program has different software, such as SAS University Edition, which allows the free use of fundamental SAS technologies, ideal for teaching, research and self-learning in Analytics. Accessible via download, the software can be used on PC, Linux or Mac.
You can also get free access to SAS Studio, a new web-based tool for writing and running SAS code. Students can upload their own datasets or practice with datasets from SAS certification courses. In addition to the already established SAS OnDemand program for universities, which was recently updated to provide easier access for users, as it is no longer necessary to be linked to a specific course to benefit.
