Javier Ramírez – new director of Alliances and Channels for Latin America

SAS, a leading analytics company, announces the promotion of Javier Ramírez as the new director of Alliances and Channels for Latin America. In this position, he will be responsible for driving the indirect sales of analytics solutions in the region, which covers the following countries: Mexico, Colombia, Central America, the Caribbean, Ecuador, Chile, Peru, Argentina and Brazil.

Javier Ramírez has worked at SAS since 2008, managing the direct sales force for the Caribbean and Central America region, later holding the position of Channel and Alliance Manager for the same region. Prior to joining SAS, he was Channel Director for the Latin America North region for Cognos (soon acquired by IBM) from 2005 to 2008. Javier holds a degree in Informatics and Linguistics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and resides in southern Florida with his wife and three children.
