The vacancies are for free, online training in AI tools for analytics, programming, statistical fundamentals and other concepts

SAS, a leading analytics and AI company, has 1,500 open registrations for free online courses focused on data analysis. The agenda includes classes on “SAS Dev for beginners”, “SAS Visual Analytics for beginners” and “Data Transformation and Exploration with SAS Guide”, which will take place on October 28th, November 25th and December 6th, respectively, via Zoom.

Like SAS Dev for Beginners, students will be introduced and invited to enter the universe of programming for data analysis and SAS technologies. It will cover general analytics concepts, the SAS Studio web development tool, the SAS programming process and much more. The project is aimed at all professionals who want to start SAS programming focused on data analysis and will take place on 10/28, at 08:30 am (BRT). Registration must be made by link.

SAS Visual Analytics for Beginners, will present, in addition to handling the tool, general concepts of data visualization, basic access structures, data types, creation of dashboards and others. The program suggests basic knowledge of data manipulation for better understanding, but is aimed at all those who work in the business and technical areas of companies, as well as students and curious people who want to learn and work with data visualization. The course will take place on 11/25, at 8:30 am (BRT) and registrations must be made via link.

Already with the Data Transformation and Exploration with SAS Guide, the student will learn more about the purposes of using the SAS Enterprise Guide tool, such as: exploring data transformations, advanced filters, prompts and descriptive statistics. The program suggests basic knowledge in SAS Guide for better understanding. The course will take place on 12/06, at 6:00 pm (BRT) and registrations must be made via link.

The education and training area manager at SAS Brasil, Luigi Barroso, explains that there are 500 places for each course. “With these three training courses, we reached more than 2,500 people who graduated from our training throughout 2023,” he states. “The objective for next year is to expand the grid, so that more students, university professors and executives can use analytics to help their companies and, at the same time, enhance their careers.”
