Program will make 75 thousand scholarships available within 6 educational programming tracks starting at the basic level

Santander Universidades has registrations open for Santander Bootcamp 2023, an initiative carried out in partnership with the education and recruitment startup DIO, which seeks to generate more opportunities in the market and develop new professionals in the technology area. In its third edition, the program will make 75 thousand software development grants available throughout Brazil. Participants will be able to choose one of six educational tracks starting from the initial level for the languages Backend Java, Full Stack Java+Angular, Data Science with Python, Mobile Android with Kotlin, Mobile Multiplatform with Flutter and Mobile iOS with Swift. Participation is free and can be done until July 31, 2023 through the platform Santander Scholarships. 

“This is an initiative by Santander Universidades to promote inclusion in the booming technology market, which demands professionals who are in tune with new trends and who have knowledge of the sector. To participate in Santander Bootcamp, you just need to be over 18 years old and have the desire to develop skills in programming languages. Santander works so that we can have professionals of all ages able to work in any area of technology”, says Marcio Giannico, executive superintendent of Santander Universities in Brazil. 

At the end of each of the trails, all professionals who graduate will gain certificates and access to the Talent Match, DIO's hiring platform that connects talents with the best opportunities in the technology market. “Our main mission is to generate more opportunities and access to education every day for everyone who is interested in learning and evolving as software developers, improving programming skills and creating a portfolio together with DIO and Santander”, says Iglá Generoso, CEO and Founder of DIO.
There will be an individual performance ranking within the program, where the three best placed will win cash prizes, notebook and access to the Dio Global, a program for international career development, with access to English courses, mentoring and open technology positions abroad.

In 2023, the objective is to deliver 120 thousand scholarships to support university students, entrepreneurs, microentrepreneurs, SMEs, startups and scaleups. All of this is done through international mentoring, financial incentive awards and also via Santander , international projection and networking.
