Banco Santander started, in partnership with Endeavor, a search for companies capable of transforming the way the financial world relates to people and other businesses. Registrations for the Santander Radar Program can be made on the website www.santander.com.br/radar until March 24, 2017. Ten companies will be chosen to participate in a selection event, on April 27, when the entrepreneurs will make a selection pitch about your proposals.

The five chosen, after this last stage, will participate in the program, between May and November, when they will be accompanied by Santander executives and Endeavor mentors. The companies will also count on a network of mutual help and networking formed by companies that grow and face similar challenges.

“What we are looking for are companies that are already in operation and that are at the tipping point, ready to take the leap. It is at this moment that mentoring will act, ”says Angel Santodomingo, CFO of Santander Brasil,” says Angel Santodomingo, executive vice president and CFO of Santander Brasil.

Radar Santander searches for companies with a profile known as scale up, that is, that have the potential to grow exponentially, and in a short period of time. The goal is to make good ideas reach customers faster, even though the profile sought is not necessarily that of a fintech - technology company applied to the financial sector.

In addition to mentoring, and the direct connection to the Endeavor network and the main executives of Santander, one of the main differentials of the program is its logic of relationship with entrepreneurs. The focus is on building bridges between the entrepreneur and the bank, since the program does not provide for the transfer of shareholding or exclusive contracts - the objective is for the bonds to be built, not imposed.

"We are going to look for entrepreneurs who already have their businesses in operation and who are at turning points in their trajectory. The program is a vitamin to enhance the capacity of these entrepreneurs to transform the bank's business or the way it is managed.” comments Juliano Seabra, general director of Endeavor.

The innovations sought may arise in areas such as relationship channels; offer processes and models, such as CRM and big data; risk management (from collection and credit recovery to fraud prevention); de-bureaucratization of processes, and human resources management.

During the seven-month duration of the program, entrepreneurs will have a personalized workday, according to their profile and the needs of the business. While an Endeavor sponsor will support you in the internal challenges of managing your business, a Santander executive will help you deliver your product or service to the market that exists from the door out. And the company will have easier access to the customer network and partner base of Santander, the largest international bank present in Brazil today.
