According to a survey of FintechLab, an initiative of Clay Innovation, there are more than 200 startups in Brazil providing innovative financial services to people and companies. are the calls fintechs, which challenge or complement the traditional offerings of large companies in the financial sector. The survey shows that 74% of Brazilian consumers use products or services in this category, while the global average is 63%. For the president of ACATE, Daniel Leipnitz, fintechs have revolutionized the way people carry out financial operations. “These startups are impacting the business of financial institutions, which have sought to reinvent themselves, especially in the way they relate to customers,” he explains. Leipnitz reinforces that the population is going to banks less and is starting to use technologies aligned with the fintech concept, such as applications for payments, loans and financial management.
The launch of Vertical Fintech is scheduled for October 6, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, at the ACATE Innovation Center (CIA) – Spring. The program will feature a presentation on Fintech in Brazil, a lecture, and dynamics facilitated by Clay Innovation / FintechLab, supporting the organization of Vertical.
