training for game creation will be for students and developers

Opened just over a month ago, Ocean Manaus – Samsung's Training Center, which offers university students and developers teaching opportunities aimed at creating applications and games – starts its first intensive course class, considered university extension, in September. As a result of the partnership with the Universidade do Estado do Amazonas (UEA), this training will have as its main focus the development of games and will be offered free of charge to those interested in Manaus, as well as to people who come from other regions of Brazil.

The intensive courses at OCean will have an average duration of 50 to 200 hours and a capacity for around 30 students per class. Criteria for the selection process as well as contact information for application will be available on the website www.oceanbrasil.com. On the page, it is also possible to find out about the monthly schedule of other free training sessions – with an average duration of 4 hours – at the OCEAN units, located in Manaus and São Paulo.

Brazil is the first country, in addition to South Korea – where Samsung's headquarters is located – to host Ocea. By August 2014, around 3,500 people had passed through the two Brazilian branches in more than 130 training sessions on 13 different topics.

The center's differential is the one-stop concept, which offers technical training combined with topics related to business and entrepreneurship, as well as contact with Samsung and market specialists. The goal is to prepare professionals who are able to use Samsung's tools and develop innovative content solutions.
for branded device users.

The OCEAN units also promote increased employability for participants and the emergence of new technology-based companies (start-ups), fostering the ecosystem for the development of mobile solutions.
