Selected business incubators will receive training
and mentoring focused on creating innovative companies

Samsung and Anprotec have launched a call for selection of business incubators from across the country interested in participating in the Creative Economy Promotion Program, which aims to identify and support creative economy projects and ventures across the country. The deadline for submitting proposals is October 2nd. They will be evaluated by a specialized bank. In the pilot phase of the program, up to four (4) business incubators will be pre-selected, distributed among different regions of the country.

The selected incubators will receive training focused on creating ventures with high economic and social impact, based on the Korean Creative Economy Culture Model, implemented in South Korea by CCEI Daegu – Center for Creative Economy and Innovation. By participating in the Program, business incubators will have the opportunity to implement the model by sharing documents, technologies and practices developed by the CCEI.

Business incubators associated with Anprotec that have been in operation for at least three years and have at least five incubated companies can apply. Both incubated and graduated institutions must work in priority areas of the Program: education, health, information security and mobile business demands (phones, tablets and wearables).

In addition, the incubator must be accredited by the Information Technology Area Committee (CATI), the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), or the Amazon Research and Development Committee (Capda), and be regularized. with the MCTI to exercise the application of resources from the Information Technology Law.

When submitting proposals, incubators must fill out the Application Form available at this link and send the documentation by mail to Anprotec by October 2nd.

The Brazilian Creative Economy Promotion Program (PECB) is the result of the partnership signed in April this year between Samsung and Anprotec, aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and innovation. Through the partnership, Anprotec is committed to carrying out training, articulating public policies and disseminating knowledge about the creative economy with its associates and innovative companies. Samsung, in turn, acts as a facilitator of the relationship between Anprotec and the CCEI, identifying projects that are able to participate in the Program. In five years, the company will invest US$ 5 million in the project.
