Developers will be able to participate in a marathon of technical sessions
On the 30th and 31st of May, at the Bienal de São Paulo, Samsung Electronics will host the Brazilian stage of the Samsung Developer Day 2014. Pre-registration can now be done on the website www.samsung.com.br/developerdaysp. Places are free and limited.
Aimed at developers and partners, the event will present the latest technologies on Samsung's platforms and services, in addition to generating business opportunities. It is the first time that Samsung holds this type of event in the country. "The objective is to show the company's efforts to develop content and services, mainly our support and interest in the developer community in Brazil, one of the largest in Latin America", analyzes Fábio Croitor, director of Samsung's Media Solution Center for Latin America .
On the first day of the meeting, technical presentations will be given by speakers from Samsung Research & Development Centers and partners. On the second day, the Hackathon takes place, a competition whose objective is to develop applications for Samsung Android platform devices.
Among other prizes, Hackathon winners will be invited to the Long Duration Course at OCEAN Brasil, a free training and qualification center for creating mobile solutions, aimed at university students and developers. Recently opened, OCEAN is located in São Paulo (capital) and is the first unit outside of South Korea.
