Event will mark the beginning of FIESC's Year of Innovation celebrations, with lectures on innovation

With the objective of promoting more and more innovation in the technology sector, ABES (Brazilian Association of Software Companies) will support the “PI Day (Promote Innovation), which takes place next Saturday, March 14, in Florianópolis , Santa Catarina. The event will be promoted by PI Academy and will discuss the practice of innovation in different contexts. The idea is to create a space for dialogue and exchange of experiences.

For Jorge Sukarie, president of ABES, support for these events remains in line with the entity's objective of being at the side of the country's technology sector, supporting innovation. "ABES has been doing continuous work to support entrepreneurs who are responsible for most of the innovative projects in the sector".

ABES announced a balance sheet for the last few months of the BNDES 'Innovative MPME line aimed at small companies that need support to continue their projects. The initiative, created in partnership with the entity, BNDES and BRDE, is available for the southern region.

On the occasion, there will be a series of lectures and panels with audience participation. Gérson Schmitt, Chairman of the ABES Board, will be present at the opening table, along with speakers and moderators, specialists in innovation. The event will be held in the FIESC auditorium from 8:30 am and will be free.
