Entity closes agreement with another technological pole, continuing its program to foster innovation

As part of its program to support incubators and startups, the Brazilian Association of Software Companies (ABES) has just signed an agreement with BH-TEC, one of the most relevant technology hubs in the country. With the agreement, the entity aims to boost the development of the institution and its partners, offering mainly support for legal guidance and information of relevance to companies.
 
Result of a partnership between the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Government of the State of Minas Gerais, Municipality of Belo Horizonte, Brazilian Service of Support to Micro and Small Enterprises of Minas Gerais (SEBRAE-MG) and the Federation of Industries of Minas Gerais (FIEMG), BH-TEC, which recently completed three years of operation, is a business environment that synthesizes the elements of the new knowledge economy, bringing together technology-based companies and support services. The Park is an instrument created to boost the relationship between the different actors engaged in the innovation process, aiming to increase Brazilian competitiveness, in favor of economic and social development.
 
The initiative seeks to approach incubators and startups to offer support for their business development and acceleration. For Jorge Sukarie, president of ABES, this partnership is in line with the entity's commitment to foster the development of the IT market. "ABES has been trying to get closer and closer to the technology hubs that are a reference in the country, these are the main responsible for the growth of the sector and need our support".  
 
According to Mariana de Oliveira Santos, Executive Manager of BH-TEC, the alliance is beneficial for both sides, ABES will receive greater visibility at the same time that the companies in the Park will be able to receive the support and support of the entity. "The agreement recently signed with ABES brought a positive expectation to the Park."
 
 Also according to Mariana, the idea of the partnership was well received by BH-TEC businessmen and partners, and ABES 'national representation in the software sector, one of the vocations of the city of Belo Horizonte, is a very positive point of this agreement. The partnership also provides BH-TEC with a closer relationship with IT companies linked to ABES, increasing the visibility of the Park's actions. "Another important point to highlight is the idea of formulating a joint work agenda, where the park starts to act as a local operator of ABES, increasing the representation of the association here in Minas Gerais, especially in Belo Horizonte", concludes the executive .
