On 02/19, ABES representatives met with the Special Secretary of the Federal Revenue of Brazil, Marcos Cintra, to discuss an important agenda for the ICT sector: Tax Reform. Topics for improving legal and tax security in the country were also discussed. “There is national unanimity on the urgency of advancing the agenda for tax reform and simplification. As a sectoral entity, we are engaged in this debate and in the presentation of suggestions”, highlighted Francisco Camargo, executive president of ABES.  

The association currently has more than 2 thousand associated and affiliated companies, 85% of which are Micro, Small and Medium-sized Companies distributed in 23 Brazilian States and the Federal District, companies responsible for generating more than 200 thousand direct jobs and annual revenue of the order of US$ 24 billion.

Among the participants in the meeting were the legal director of ABES, Manoel Antonio dos Santos; Rodolfo Fücher, director of the entity; and the coordinator of the Regulatory Committee, Andriei Gutierrez.
