Agreement strengthened Ramo Peru's operation, as it involved the absorption of more than 50 customers (the majority concentrated in the City of Lima), totaling 20 employees

Ramo, a national company focused on solutions for small and medium-sized businesses and a partner of SAP, expands its business in Latin America and announces the merger of its subsidiary in Peru with Strat, a Peruvian company also a partner of SAP, specialized in SAP implementation Business One. The agreement strengthened Ramo Peru's operations, as it involved the absorption of more than 50 customers (the majority concentrated in the City of Lima) and added another 20 employees.

Ramo Peru has been operating in the country since October last year. Among the main market verticals served are Tax, Accounting, Retail, Distribution, Mining, Manufacturing and Services.

According to Décio Krakauer, CEO of Ramo, the subsidiary in Peru has all the localization for Peruvian legislation, with tax reports, electronic invoice, Integrated Electronic Records System (SIRE) and other functions with local characteristics through its add-on , called “Peru”, for SAP Business One.

“When we launched Ramo in Peru we were informed that a local SAP partner was interested in a merger or acquisition. It was Strat, which had very experienced and mature management, whose partners wanted to take the next step to ensure a long life for the company they created. Thus, we have entered into an agreement that will be fruitful for both parties”, says Krakauer.

As highlighted, Strat interested Ramo due to its history, business vision, its customers and, in particular, its employees, who make a difference in the Peruvian SAP Business One market.

Over 24 months, investments in the order of US$ 1 million are planned, including acquisition, improvements and participation in Ramo Brasil. “The idea is to have a sustainable company, relying on the best market practices and with high performance in Peru”, says the executive.

From now on, the CEO reveals that the company is starting a partnership program to expand its operations throughout Peru, in the same way that Ramo Brasil operates. “We intend to operate completely with SAP Business One and SAP solutions in other regions besides this country, such as Chile and Paraguay”, he states, remembering that Ramo’s operations are cross and serves different market segments.

“Our expectation is, in two years, to reach leadership in the Peru region in the SAP universe. Therefore, we will expand our operations in Latin America, with new branches and markets”, concludes Krakauer.
