Fintech only with big ones! Banco do Brasil, Bradesco, Caixa Econômica Federal, Itaú Unibanco and Santander are the shareholders of the first fintech database manager, with a focus on the Positive Registry. It is the Credit Intelligence Manager, a company created by the five largest banks in the country, and which focuses on data management of the Positive Registry, officially starts operating in the Brazilian market under the Quod brand.

Fintech's proposal, currently in the pre-operational phase, is to provide products and solutions for risk control, fraud prevention and analysis of large volumes of data, both for financial institutions and for other companies that require information on credit risk in the day to day operations. With this, people and companies will be able to have greater knowledge and control of their data and their credit and payment operations.

The products and services provided by Quod will combine big data techniques, artificial intelligence and the use of state-of-the-art technology platforms to transform payment history information into intelligence during the decision-making stages of granting credit.

The creation of Quod represents an important step to promote the improvement of the National Financial System (SFN) and puts into practice a change in perspective in the credit granting policies that have been used in Brazil for several years. "Until now, consulting the records of defaulters was the main method used in granting credit. The positive record reverses this logic, as it considers the punctuality and consistency of the consumer in the payment of their obligations, enabling better conditions for good payers , which will be recognized through their credit 'scores'”, explains Rodrigo Abreu, president of Quod.

Exclusive methodology and innovative technology

To support the construction of the technological infrastructure, an exclusive long-term partnership was signed with the company LexisNexis Risk Solutions, responsible for developing and implementing Quod's analytical platform. LexisNexis operates in more than 100 countries, using state-of-the-art technology and advanced, patented analytical tools that help assess risk and improve decision-making.

Quod believes that promoting the use of a positive credit history contributes to the promotion of financial education for the Brazilian population, as well as to the creation of a virtuous circle in the country's economy: well-informed citizens and companies generate improvements in consumption habits and history as a consequence, reducing current default and over-indebtedness patterns. In turn, this allows for greater access and better credit terms. In this way, the economy tends to develop, generating benefits for these same citizens and companies.
