THE Qlik, global leader in data integration and analytics, announces the creation of its first Artificial Intelligence Council (AI Council), an initiative that further embeds ethical, cutting-edge AI development at the core of the company's mission and industry proposition. By bringing together a diverse set of advisors, Qlik will accelerate the responsible development of its AI-driven product portfolio, leveraging the expertise of some of the world's most prominent AI experts, to help customers use their data to achieve more meaningful business results.

O Generative AI Benchmark Report, recent research from Qlik, found that 31% of senior executives plan to spend more than US$ 10 million on Generative AI initiatives in the next year and 79% have already invested in Generative AI tools or projects. Despite this enthusiasm, the report also concluded that executives understand the need for the right data strategies to realize their potential. If the data building blocks of AI are not properly governed as they are democratized across the workforce, they could pose a number of threats to the efficiency and integrity of business operations. The AI Council was created to help Qlik customers address these challenges and advise on best practices.

Board members will work with Qlik to guide the company's Research and Development (R&D) direction, inform its product roadmap, and ensure that its customers' use of Qlik AI is done responsibly and ethically. The Council will also educate Qlik leaders and employees on how to harness the full potential of AI, while providing insights into the priorities of business leaders tasked with demonstrating the value of investing in AI.

The Qlik AI Council is made up of some of the most renowned subject matter experts from around the world. More information about these members can be found on the Qlik Staige™:
