Qlik, a multinational in data integration and analysis, announces the acquisition of Blendr.io, a scalable and secure integration and automation platform (iPaaS) that automates data integration and process orchestration in more than 500 SaaS applications and data sources. cloud data.

Designed for use cases in SaaS and enterprise integration workflows, Blendr.io expands Qlik's ability to provide Active Intelligence through its end-to-end data integration and cloud analytics platform. In this way, data updated in real time drives immediate actions to accelerate business value across the data and analytics chain.

Blendr.io's technology allows Qlik to expand its data analysis and integration offerings to also include automation to enable actions and enhance augmented analysis capabilities. Qlik will expand Blendr.io's standalone iPaaS use cases so that customers can explore new analytics use cases through timely access to relevant data even more ready for analysis.

Blendr.io, which already serves more than 1,500 end users through more than 100 customer accounts, such as Aptivio, Graydon and Globis Software, provides a comprehensive set of real-time integration and automation layers, including:

  • Connectivity layer - allows integrations with cloud platforms and more than 500 SaaS applications;
  • Integration layer- allows the creation of comprehensive “combinations” through a flexible and easy-to-use low-code visual tool, which supports programming and adds business logic, including conditions and variables, among others;
  • UI and embedding layer - incorporates integrations into the User Interface (UI) of a cloud platform and offers customers quick and comprehensive ways to enable integration in marketing, sales and other cloud platforms, such as CRM, ERP, helpdesk, among others.
  • Management layer- Offers central management of customers, integrations, models and incorporation in a cloud platform.

Blendr.io will also help expand the use cases of the Qlik ecosystem through ISVs, SaaS providers and corporations. For ISV and SaaS providers, Blendr.io helps to integrate data from existing SaaS solutions with a variety of customer solutions, including accounting software, ERPs, CRMs, e-commerce platforms, cloud sales tools and messaging applications . Blendr.io also helps ISV and SaaS providers to enable customer self-service activation through native integrations with cloud data sources.

The terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The Blendr.io team and leadership joined Qlik as part of the Global Products and Product Technology organizations. Qlik is fully committed to supporting all existing Blendr.io customers and the platform will continue to be made available to new SaaS solution partners. Qlik will integrate Blendr.io technologies into its models go-to-market with plans to integrate technologies into their data platforms and cloud analytics starting in 2021.
