The technology company ProRadis, a member of ABES, is one of the 19 São Paulo companies approved in the second stage of the Start-up Brazil program, from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI). In all, 709 companies signed up for the initiative, being 531 Brazilian and 178 foreign. In total, 62 companies were approved (53 national and nine foreign) that will receive up to R$ 200 thousand in CNPq scholarships for a year to cover salary expenses and will have access to another R$ 36 million, in total, by associating with a of the program's nine accelerators, in exchange for equity interest.

Formed by Haissan Molaib, Eduardo Alvarez, Leonardo Zago and the brothers David and Fernando Pares, ProRadis began its activities in 2012, working on the development of solutions for imaging diagnostic centers, clinical analysis laboratories, hospitals and clinics and professionals who operate in the sector. The project approved by the MCTI, called Image2Doc, consists of an online platform to store, organize and share medical exams between health professionals and diagnostic medicine centers. Among the main benefits of Image2Doc are the increase in the quality of service provided to patients and greater agility in the exchange of knowledge between health professionals for the evaluation of medical exams.

“We are very excited about the prospects that the Start-Up Brazil program will open for ProRadis, whose Image2Doc solution could have a significant impact on the lives of millions of patients throughout Brazil”, explains Haissan, CEO of ProRadis. The Start-Up Brasil program is part of the TI Maior Plan, launched last year, which provides for the contribution of R$ 60 million from the federal government by 2015 in 300 startups.
