“By stimulating innovative businesses in line with new technological trends, we are collaborating simultaneously to strengthen the ecosystem of national startups and, also, that of innovation and research. Only in this way will we make the country less dependent on international technologies and more competitive in the global market ”, explains Diônes Lima, vice president of Softex.

The executive points out that TechD takes advantage of the trend of open innovation and the capillarity of the entity to foster the development of technologies with greater added value throughout the country. “We want to enhance the use of technologies to foster digital transformation in companies that will test them, bringing potential customers to entrepreneurs and researchers, in addition to promoting their consolidation in the national market and their internationalization. The R&D Centers have a fundamental role in technological development and benefit from the new businesses that the program will provide them. Another objective is to transform applied research carried out by universities into a business. TechD also has the proposal to help startups, IT companies, research groups and participating consortia to establish themselves in the market in a more consistent and scalable way ”, he concludes.

For its realization, TechD has strategic partnerships with the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC), the National Association of Entities Promoting Innovative Enterprises (Anprotec) and the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq).
