Applications can be made until July 31

Through the Intensive Connection, carried out by AgTech Garage, an innovation hub based in Piracicaba (SP), eight startups linked to agribusiness will be selected to build partnerships and develop solutions that can help people in the field. Registration is free and startups interested in the program must register until July 31, on the website www.agtechgarage.com

“The field is undergoing a process of transformation, with new technologies arriving to help producers, increase productivity and ensure the sector's sustainable growth. As we closely follow the daily lives of our associates and we know that a large part of them are linked to agribusiness, we seek to increasingly foster this connection with technology. AgTech Garage came up with this objective and Intensive Connection reinforces our purpose of facilitating and accelerating the development of innovative solutions”, explains Gustavo Freitas, Executive Director of Credit at Sicredi and who supports the acceleration program. In addition to Sicredi, the Intensive Connection program has the support of Bayer, OCP and Ourofino Saúde Animal.

Agritechs in focus

The program is aimed at agritechs, that is, startups linked to agro. Entrepreneurs must present ideas related to agribusiness sustainability, family farming and solutions that positively impact the fertilizer value chain, that contribute to animal health, or that optimize the credit granting process, risk assessment and environmental compliance. .

16 startups will be selected that, on August 22, will present themselves to a committee formed by executives from partner institutions in this action. At this stage, eight finalist startups will be chosen to start programming the first edition of Intensive Connection, on September 12th.

There will be four months of meetings and connections with executives from partner companies, producers and market experts, exploring essential content for overcoming startups' challenges and carrying out proofs of concept (POCs), an acronym used by startups to define demonstrations of validation of ideas or concepts. Some of the face-to-face meetings are already scheduled for October 10th and November 14th of this year. In addition to other benefits, those selected will have access to the AgTech Garage hub, market exposure and paid trips to visit the program partners' innovation areas to strengthen relationships and increase the chances of closing deals.

The Intensive Connection is equity free, that is, it does not require the registered entrepreneur to sell part of his business for a predetermined amount at the beginning of the program. "It will be a journey of experiences: learning, relationships and business. At the end of the day, what we do is enhance business opportunities between startups and our partners, raising startups' maturity to a new level" , says José Tomé, CEO of AgTech Garage.
