The São José dos Campos (SP) Incubator Program, managed by CECOMPI – Center for Competitiveness and Innovation of the East Paulista Cone, has new vacancies open for incubation candidates. The purpose of the program is to contribute to the creation, development and improvement of technology-based businesses. Registration is now open.
 
The four incubators in São José dos Campos are part of the Program:
 
– Business Incubator of Fundação Valeparaibana de Ensino, located on the campus of the University of Vale do Paraíba (Univap);
 
– Petrobras Business Incubator, located at the Henrique Lages Refinery (Revap);
 
– Aeronautical Technological Base Incubator (Incubaero), located in the Aerospace Science and Technology Department (DCTA) and linked to the Aeronautical Technological Institute (ITA);
 
– São José dos Campos Business Incubator, located and managed by CECOMPI.
 
The Incubator Program supports the implementation, operation, product development and technical/administrative management of incubated projects that incorporate advanced techniques or demonstrate originality in the application of technologies.
 
The projects and/or ideas accepted by the Program must be strongly linked to research and the academic community, which meet the critical demand of the local industry, or which intensely employ talents in the provision of highly qualified services.
 
Through the Program, the incubators offer courses, lectures and an environment conducive to business opportunities, credit, market access, legislation, technological innovation, research and technical publication, among others. The incubated companies will also have infrastructure and support in the creation and consolidation of projects at their disposal.
 
Candidates must present their projects, preferably linked to the areas of embedded electronics, health, information and communication technology, services, mechanical technologies, oil and gas and new materials.
 
The selection process will consist of pre-selection, selection and result steps. Applications are due until September 30th and the full notice is available on the website www.cecompi.org.br.
