The three winners will receive prizes of up to €40,000

Startups, academic institutions and robotics experts can participate in the selection process for Bayer's Grants4Tech Program. Interested parties have until September 30 to submit their innovative projects in the production area, focusing on the development of a robotic solution combined with software to open drums and internal plastic bags.

In a first phase, six projects will be selected for presentation at a technology fair in May 2017, in Berlin, with all expenses paid. The top three will receive a prize of €40,000, €20,000 and €15,000 respectively.

“The Grants4Tech challenge is a new program from Bayer's Open Innovation portfolio, which aims to impact the Life Sciences industry with innovative ideas in the robotics area”, emphasizes Camila Navarro, IT & Digital Innovation Manager at Bayer Brasil.
