The Salesforce platform will allow automation and integration of all drug sales and distribution processes

In order to increase employee efficiency and productivity and sales transparency, Profarma Specialty, an integrated player in pharmaceutical specialties with AmerisourceBergen's know-how, starts using the Salesforce technological solution in the second half of 2019 at 100% of the unit's operation of the company's Distribution business, which focuses on the logistics of highly complex medicines. The novelty that was already in use at the Specialty Pharmacy unit will be integrated into all internal processes.

"This investment in innovation, sales efficiency and customer management is very much in line with our growth strategy. The migration to a market platform, leader in innovation, allows us to focus more and more on our business, instead of deviating with systems development and support", explains Rodrigo Gomes, director of Profarma Specialty's Distribution business unit.

The tool will allow automation and integration of processes, such as planning customer visits, monitoring quotes, sales execution, credit management, in addition to validating regulatory requirements. "It is an intuitive platform, with automated processes speeding up our daily lives. In addition to being important in the market, it will improve the operational and managerial routine and we believe in increasing productivity and optimizing processes", emphasizes Gomes.

With Salesforce, a reference company in innovation and a global leader in CRM, sales operators will no longer need to work with different tools to achieve success at work, such as spreadsheets and incessant email exchanges, ensuring greater speed and control of activities. . Altogether, around 200 employees will be users of the tool, including the sales team and support areas.

"The consolidation of all information in a single bank will also allow us to evolve with artificial intelligence analysis, in this way, we will be able to implement predictive models, that is, analyze a mass of data to make a prediction of what can happen and, in this way, each more and more to anticipate the needs of our customers", completes the director.
