Colombian companies seek strategic alliances and investors
 
Proexport Colombia, a government organization with the objective of promoting tourism, exports and investments in Colombia, promotes on the 22nd and 23rd of September, at Fecomércio São Paulo, the event Colombia Bring IT ON, software and content business roundtables with Colombian companies, including Wikot (www.wikot.com), Sistemas Y Formacion (www.sistemasyformacion.com), Grob Sistemas (www.grobsistemas.com) and IP Total Software (www.iptotal.com).
 
On that occasion, systemic strategies will be highlighted to efficiently coordinate emergency response agencies with security agencies; how to integrate transport, health and public safety to help fight crime and support justice; systems to consolidate, evaluate and account for their investments and excess liquidity in public finances.
 
According to Andrés Guzman, from the Colombia Commercial Office in Brazil, the areas that have seen the most growth are development for financial services companies, custom software development, as well as software development for health, government, education, tourism and retail.
 
“Local representation, distribution, joint venture, inclusion of services in the portfolio of Brazilian companies and creation of Brazilian subsidiaries of companies are some of the possibilities of partnerships that may be established with Colombian companies”, highlights Guzman.
 
The event will feature a specialized seminar for Brazilian Capital Funds. The objective is to present investment opportunities in the Information Technology sector and propose dialogue between decision makers of Colombian software and digital content companies and investment funds based in Brazil on the commercial and technology projects that are part of the growth strategy. , with the possibility of financial leverage or partnerships.
 
Bring IT ON Campaign
 
On the occasion, Proexport will officially launch the Bring IT ON campaign in Brazil, created by the agency to boost the Colombian technology industry around the world. The campaign has already been launched in New York. Bring IT ON is the international seal of this sector so that companies from other countries think about Colombia when doing business and see the country as a provider of high quality software services, as well as a destination for the start of investment projects.
