Among the benefits, Abranches cites free technical support and mentoring, as well as the opportunity to be part of a global ecosystem and exchange experience with foreign entrepreneurs, executives and Open Future partners. Participants will also be able to count on Ericsson's support for the development of their projects.

"We are long-time partners of both Telefónica and Inatel and we will contribute with all our experience in the development of projects, applications and technologies. The innovations that will certainly be born in this space are of great interest to us", highlights Tales Silva, Consultant in Ericsson Business.

The intention is to select projects that are at a more mature stage so that, eventually, they can have access to Wayra, and receive financing, through the company's investment funds.

"We have more than 20 spaces like this in the world. I was very impressed with the incentive for entrepreneurship that exists at Inatel and Telefónica Open Future complements this phenomenal ecosystem of innovation", said Pablo Moro Casquete, Strategic Partnerships Manager at Telefónica Open Future.
