The first complete application integrated with the city hall management system in Brazil was launched this week in Santa Catarina. The novelty began to work in the municipality of Rio do Sul, in Alto Vale do Itajaí, about 200 kilometers from Florianópolis. Called Atende.Net App, the new feature allows any citizen to interact with the city hall without having to personally go to the municipal administration building or having to call the agencies.

Through the cell phone screen, it is possible to schedule medical and dental appointments, check the availability of medicines at health centers, issue IPTU booklets, monitor processes, check debts with the municipality and make the payment of municipal taxes through the automatic reading of the tax code. tab bars by banking applications, without the need to print the document. In addition, the Atende.Net App allows the resident to take a picture and inform the city hall, through the smartphone's GPS, of the existence of holes in public roads or clogged culverts and ask the responsible body for repairs.

For the mayor of Rio do Sul, José Thomé, the adoption of an application that concentrates several public services meets the facilities offered by technology. “Citizens want to be autonomous in their actions, and it is no longer possible that they are still forced to face queues or waste time with procedures that can be resolved almost instantly”. Thomé believes that the novelty will bring more organization and efficiency to the city hall, by accelerating the progress of processes in several areas.

In addition to improving the arrival of demands to the municipality, the application also brings the city hall closer to the citizen and facilitates communication with him. It is possible to keep you informed about matters related to the registered profile — whether individual or legal — through notifications. The Atende.Net App allows you to register multiple accounts on the same device, whether they belong to companies, residents or public servants.

Resource availability is non-stop, and services can be requested 24 hours a day. The data is linked to the Self-Service Portal, a solution also developed by IPM Sistemas based on cloud computing. This feature maintains security and speeds up processing.

The CEO of IPM, Aldo Luiz Mees, highlights that the solution is unprecedented in Brazil. “No other application is part of a complete city hall management system, much less that allows self-service in several areas and with a single login. What exist are independent applications or for scheduling appointments, or to report problems on the streets, or to access the property tax booklet and municipal guides. The novelty is in the integration, which allows you to do all this and other activities in one place”, he says.

After Rio do Sul, other municipalities that use the public management platform Atende.Net must implement the application.

The Atende.Net App also has a social character by facilitating access to the public service. In some cases this is possible through computers, but it is already known that they correspond to about 40% of internet accesses. Today, 90% of the population has a cell phone.

The app is available for Android phones and can be downloaded via this link. By the end of the year, the iOS version will be released.

IPM Sistemas has been working for more than 20 years in the development of cloud software for public management, with a focus on cost reduction, revenue increase, quality and efficiency in the planning and execution of services.
