The City of São Paulo, through a partnership between the Secretariat for Innovation and Technology and the Secretariat for Economic Development (SMIT and SMDE), opened a public consultation to collect contributions and opinions on the Digilab Livre SP project to modernize Telecentres, publics that promote digital inclusion in the city of São Paulo.
 
The Digilab Livre SP project wants to redefine the Telecentre, transforming it into a public and free laboratory, with an environment and technological infrastructure to connect people, projects and ideas. The program will encourage the exchange of knowledge, entrepreneurship, shared work and free learning.
 
At Digilab, citizens will be able to use the internet, hold work meetings, study, participate in courses and offer training, becoming the protagonist of the content offered, in the areas of information technology, programming and entrepreneurship. To expand the conditions for learning and development, Digilab is based on hands-on, collaborative methods and approaches that consider socio-emotional skills.
 
At the moment, the program is in the implementation phase of three pilot units, where the new ideas presented will be tested, the feasibility and adherence of the service will be verified, to plan the necessary adjustments, program, collect data, evaluate the results and present them to the civil society.
 
Until 10/12/2018, it is possible to access the files that make up the design of the project and participate, sending any questions and suggestions. Then, the results will be determined for the formulation of documents that will guide the implementation of the new units.
