New version of the anonymous whistleblower portal has just been launched
In order to encourage actions to combat unfair competition and defend intellectual property, the Anonymous Reporting Portal against Software Piracy (http://www.denunciepirataria.org.br/), has been redesigned to ensure better navigation for users. The new version of the website now ensures that the reporting process is done in just three steps, making the process faster and simpler.
The creation of the portal is an initiative carried out in partnership with BSA – The Software Alliance and support from Boa Vista Serviços, the complaints made will be 100% anonymous and can be made by any citizen who finds irregularities in the use in companies, in the sale or distribution of software in physical stores or online.
According to research carried out by IDC and BSA, 50% of all computer programs installed in Brazil are irregular. “The Anonymous Whistleblower portal is a commitment by the responsible entities to defend intellectual property and knowledge-based assets, which require investments to transform ideas into innovative products and services.
